Hi this is Jayem & Kath.

Two young immigrants, who was trying to figure out what we were meant to do in this world. We didn’t grow up knowing how to dream big. We didn’t have a clear roadmap, just this quiet longing to do something meaningful… something that actually mattered.

We thought success had to look a certain way, you know the usual: fancy degrees, big titles, or jobs that sounded impressive. But deep down, we just wanted to live a life that felt full.

JM graduated from SAIT as an Architectural Technologist, while Kath earned a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from Alberta University of the Arts. We spent five years in Calgary, and Kath was even on track to complete her Master’s in Architecture at the University of Calgary.

But life had other plans.

Kath made the brave decision to leave university and follow a different path.

At 22, we both became licensed life insurance advisors. It wasn’t something we ever expected, but it’s been one of the most life-giving choices we’ve made. With Greatway’s support and guidance, we’ve grown in ways we never imagined. Not just professionally, but as partners, and as people.

We’ve had the privilege of sitting with families, listening to their dreams and worries, and helping them build peace of mind. This work has given us more than a career, it’s given us time freedom, financial growth, and the kind of happiness that comes from knowing we’re making a difference.

We feel rooted. Grateful. Fulfilled.
